Fish Supper - Another Retrospective (Last one, promise)
A couple of photos from a while ago, which came out pretty well...
MENU
Roasted trout stuffed with lemon, butter, dill and black pepper, served with fennel bulb, homemade chips and a horseradish and creme fraiche sauce...one of our favourites!
And now, a retrospective...
MENU
Pan fried Puddledub Buffalo steak with celeriac and potato rosti, roasted balsamic beetroot on a bed of watercress, all drizzled with a kicking horseradish sauce...so good
All munched down in 15 minutes before rushing out to the cinema.
Left-overs making an awesome steak sandwich the next day.
Burn's Night Supper
We enjoy food a lot and seems we talk about it a lot, so feel now is the time to document our culinary triumphs in a diary of photos.
Our first blog post arrives on Burns' Night - after a succession of nights out we finally got a quiet night in - what better way to enjoy it than with some good food and drink!
MENU
Delicious veggie haggis with neeps and tatty mash, mushroom and wine gravy and some greenery.
Wine from a box.
Cranachan with homemade yoghurt (albeit a little watery but yummy with honey), raspberries and toasted oats.
On the playlist - Blazin fiddles for Burns' Night beats.
YUM
